The 36th America’s Cup, the world-renowned premier event, will take place in Auckland, New Zealand from March 10th to 21st, 2021. During that period, some new series of hydrofoil extreme sailing yachts, the AC75S, will show up for this exciting game.
The race will take place in the outside area of Auckland city, across Hauraki Gulf, sailing along by the North Shore beaches and the North Cape to the south, including Waitamata Inner Harbour, all the way to Auckland’s iconic Harbour Bridge and downtown CBD, cross through Auckland’s eastern suburbs and the Tamaki Channel between Waiheke Island and the Malatai River. Waitamata Harbour and Hawlaki Bay are widely known as the “Crown Jewel of Auckland” and the organizing committee will design a variety of race routes here to take advantage of the full range of winds and conditions. It is also a great time of year to visit New Zealand by yacht and enjoy the southern hemisphere while watching the world’s oldest and most iconic regatta.
From 15th, January to 24th, February, in the Prada Cup America’s Cup, Italy Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli beat Inglis Team UK by 7:1, winner will qualify for the finals of the 36th America’s Cup, get the ticket to challenge the previous America’s Cup winners— Emirates Team New Zealand.
In the finals of 36th America’s Cup on 17th, March, the home team New Zealand Emirates beat Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli and won the America’s Cup for New Zealand again. That is the fourth time for this team to get America’s Cup championship which will write down in the history books.

OMEGA Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup Chronograph
OMEGA, the official timekeeper of the event, has just launched a watch for 36th America’s Cup, the Seamaster Diver 300M America’s Cup Chronograph. This watch features with a chronograph lock, anti-slip pushers and other special features which is special design for the yacht games. Red, blue and white color scheme make this watch more sporty.
This America’s Cup OMEGA Seamaster is housed in a 44mm polished steel case with a blue ceramic bezel and white enamel diving scales. The two chronograph pushers are each covered with a layer of colored rubber, providing excellent operation even in such conditions at sea. A patented “Chrono Lock” slider at 8 o’clock on the case locks the chronograph function and prevents accidental access.
The most striking visual element of the dial is the central chronograph seconds hand, which is decorated with the America’s Cup “Silver Tank” trophy in the end part. The “5-minute pre-race countdown” is highlighted with striking white in the chronograph sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The diamond-shaped chronograph minute hand in this watch is inspired by the hull of sailing ship, and the hour reading is displayed in a sector window below. The dial has a calendar window at 6 o’clock and a small second hand at 9 o’clock.
The OMEGA 9900 self-winding movement features with 28,800vph oscillation, column-wheel construction and coaxial escapement, provides a 60-hour power reserve. The stainless steel caseback is engraved clearly with a blue “36th America’s Cup” and an “Auckland 2021” on the edges.
Last but not least, the watch is equipped with a new “Quick Change” system, (Quick Release Watch Bands—A Groundbreaking Way to Exchange Your Watch Bands) allows for a quick exchange of the strap with the push of a button on the back of the bracelet, easily switching between steel or rubber straps.
